The place needs a minimum of renovations, even if it has nice views.

The view. The staff speak english and are welcoming.

Bathroom, old and small. No soundproofing at all. You can hear every neighbours. No coffee maker. Amenities are very old. It is not a 4 star hotel. Adjoining balconies. Smokers everywhere. No control on temperature.

Perfect place to spend Christmas

The location of this hotel is fantastic. The staff are friendly. And the rooms bring nice view. Like many hotels in Taormina, the hotel is hanging onto the cliff. For Christmas, Taormina turned out to be a good choice. The main streets are packed with people who enjoy the holiday.

We had a room on the north side of the elevator. That restricts the view a little. Make sure you ask for a room to the south when booking. We asked to change the rooms, but unfortunately, everything was fully booked.

Lovely central place.

Splendid views, lovely room, 10 min walk to centre, excellent breakfast and staff

Lack of parking Closest parking closes overnight so if you arrive or want to leave after 20:30 its not possible. I used porte catania parking lot which was a 20 min walk away from the hotel at an average of 15 per night

Great location, friendly staff, view was stunning

The room was super hot. Understandable that at this time Sicily was abnormally warm. We asked twice to turn off the towel heaters as this is what was causing the room to be hot. The staff did turn them off but with that said, there is only one button at the front desk that turns on all the heaters for the floor so they had to appease other guests as well. Opening the windows is not an option, only the door. Issue with that is our balcony balcony was "shared" with another room so we didn't feel comfortable leaving it open at night.

Overall a good stay due to perfect location and amazing sunsets every night.

Location of the property was perfect, however condition of the room was quite original.

Great location to explore Taormina, very friendly and accommodating staff.

The breakfast zone was too busy even at 7am. They really need to invest in more coffee machines. The room provided was next to the outside lift so a lot of the view shown on the website was not visible. When booking request a room to the right side of the lift looking towards the sea.

Loved the size of the room, the balcony with a beautiful sea view, comfortable queen size bed, bathroom towels and pamper products

The plug in the bath could not be opened so when I showered the water did not drain away and this was a safety hazard for potential slipping. I told the reception on the first day but nothing was done about it. Also the sliding glass door to the balcony was very difficult to open. Again I notified the staff at housekeeping but nothing was done about that also. It just needed some lubricant to make it slide easier. For what I was charged breakfast should have been included. I was disappointed there was not hotel restaurant for lunch and dinner?

Wonderful

The location was perfect for us! Close to the ancient theatre, several fabulous restaurants and the cable cart to get to Isola Bella to name a few. We met a few different pool attendants which we have not had on a holiday before which was a lovely touch, they were wonderful. The view was stunning from our room. Reception staff very helpful, assisted booking us a taxi to the airport home.

We paid extra for breakfast one morning, €20 each. It was a buffet and unfortunately not worth it for us, which is why we only had it once! Expected more for a 4 star hotel. The swimming pool made a strange noise through out the stay which made it difficult to completely relax poolside.

An enjoyable visit to a pleasant enough hotel with great views

Beautiful location with amazing views, really helpful and responsive manager who changed our room. Great pool

It does need refurbishing in some areas and is expensive when compared with other hotels in the area. The food at the pool is unimaginative and the bar is self service.
